Bloom standing still

I love this. We need to stop trying to move to better places to improve ourselves. We just need to be better where we are.

Sail your ship

I really like this! I have to remind myself to never be afraid of the storms and to embrace the turbulence and grow stronger! 💪❤️🚢

Isaiah 25:4

For thou hast been a strength to the poor, a strength to the needy in his distress, a refuge from the storm, a shadow from the heat, when the blast of the terrible ones is as a storm against the wall.

Psalms 55:8

I would hasten my escape from the windy storm and tempest.

Psalms 83:15

So persecute them with thy tempest, and make them afraid with thy storm.

Psalms 107:29

He maketh the storm a calm, so that the waves thereof are still.

Listen Girlfriend!

Listen girlfriend! Let’s get real! Stop trying to be the person God doesn’t want you to be. Just because someone disagrees with your choices; no matter if that person is family, a friend or even, heaven forbid, a stranger! You do what God has for your purpose. I love ❤️ the quote, ” Whatever someone thinks of you is none of your business.” Stop worrying about what other people think! Get over it! It doesn’t matter! God is leading you. You may feel like you are failing at your purpose, but God has your path already laid out. Just follow it and embrace the chaos that may come along. You are a beautifully made woman, so take your dream and your purpose and SOAR!

Two pieces of Scripture that will help to remind us of this are Psalm 56:11, In God have I put my trust; I will not be afraid what man can do unto me. Psalm 37:23, The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord: and he delighteth in his way.

Stick to God’s Word

It is better to have a well worn out Bible then to have a beautiful crisp new one that has never been used. I like this quote from Kay Arthur, “Stick with the Word. Let Scripture interprets Scripture and you won’t be let astray by false teaching, dreams, visions, or imagination.”

You will never go wrong by studying and living His Word.

Eye of the storm

Since hurricane Michael has come through and caused devastation in the state of Florida and in Georgia I am reminded of one thing. Even though we are in the eye of the storm Christ Jesus is in the midst of the storm. No matter what we’re going through he is always there and will always be there. Our storms are just a raindrop in his eyes.

Isaiah 43:2 When thou passest through the waters, I will be with thee; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee: when thou walkest through the fire, thou shalt not be burned; neither shall the flame kindle upon thee.

Serving others is how you change yourself.

How many of you have joy in your life? how many of you have lost your joy? If you feel like your joy is gone then I hope that this will help you to restore it. I’ve been listening to a lot of personal growth books on audio and also studying the book of Revelation. Now you wouldn’t think that a personal growth book and God‘s word would have anything in common and they don’t when you look at it through the worlds eyes. One repeating idea that in the audiobooks that was in order to be happy, or to bring joy to your life you have to change yourself. When you change yourself then you will start to feel happiness and joy in your life. One of the ways to do this is to always put others first. When you put others first you are putting your needs and wants to the side. When you are helping others your needs and wants begin to decrease. You start looking at things other than you. So when you start to feel depressed or wanting to change your circumstances then go out and find someone that needs help. You will begin to find joy and happiness fill your soul.

Now, the book of Revelation teaches us of the end times. The first three chapters focus on the seven churches that Jesus walks in the mist of. He is inspecting these churches. He tells them when he speaks to each of them what they are doing right and then he lets them know of their mistakes and how to fix it. The church of Ephesus was doing everything right.

Then one thing that they did not do correctly. It was they were doing all of these different works, but I had left their first love. Their first love was Jesus Christ.

Revelation 2:1-5.

When you push through your life no matter what you’re doing if you’ve lost your first love or forgotten your first love everything is in vain and you’re just going through the motions of life. When you go through the motions of life you become stagnant, dead emotionally, feeling a sense of hopelessness. You have lost your Joy.

When we remember our first love, which is Jesus Christ, we are able to serve him with our whole hearts. And one of the things of serving christ is helping others. He specifically tells us in his word to love that I neighbor, which means everyone that’s around you. Exodus 20 , “thou shalt not put no other gods before me” and in John 15:9-12 Jesus says, As the father has loved me, so I have loved you; continue year and my love. If you keep my Commandments, you shall abide in my love even as I have kept my father’s Commandments, and abide in his love. These things have I spoken into you, that my joy may remain in you and that your joy may it be filled. This is my commandment that you love one another, as I have loved you.

Let’s look the word joy.

The word joy can be used as an acronym. Write this acronym on a piece of paper and place it somewhere that you will see it every single day.

Jesus

Others

You

In order to have JOY in our lives we must put Jesus first, then others, and lastly yourself. When we do this our joy will be restored.

Ever wonder if you’re in the will of God?

Ever wonder if you are in the will of God? I know I do! I struggle with it sometimes & at others I hear his voice clear and vibrant. To be in God’s will you must just be available to do whatever He ask you too! You are in His will when you give thanks, 1 Thessalonians 5: 17-18, pray without ceasing. In everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you, pray, obey, & honor Him.

Study His word don’t just read it! Psalm 119:105 that word is a lamp into my feet in a light unto my path. Dig deep in His word; that is his will for your life!

Even Jesus was here to do God’s will. John 4:34, Jesus say it into them, my meet is to do the will of him that sent me into finish his work.

this is gods divine will. Philippians 2:13-15, for it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure. Do all things without murmurings and disputings; that ye may be blameless and harmless, the sons of God without rebuke in the midst of a crooked and perverse nation, among whom you shine as lights in the world.

The only way to serve God is to have a willing heart. Exodus 35:5 Take ye from among you an offering and to the Lord who so ever is of a willing heart let him bring it, and offering of the Lord; gold, and silver, and brass. David said this to Solomon, and Thou, Solomon my son, know thou the God of thy father, and serve him with a perfect heart and with a willing mind: for the Lord searches all the hearts, and understandth all the imaginations of the thoughts: if thou seek him he will be found of thee: but if thou forsake him he will cast thee off forever.

1 Chronicles 28:9. The goal for things and gold, and the silver things of silver, and for all manner of work to be made by the hands of artificers. And who then is willing to consecrate his service this day and to the Lord? 1 Chronicles 29:5 have you asked yourself if you are willing?

for if there be first a willing mind, it is excepted according to that a man hat, and not according to that he has not. 2 Corinthians 8:12. A willing heart is all that you need. It doesn’t matter what else you have.

Ephesians 5:15-17 & 20, See then that you walk circumspectly, not as fools, but as wise, redeeming the time because the days are evil. Wherefore be ye not unwise, but understanding what the will of God is. Giving thanks Always for all things and to God and the father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Make you perfect in every good work to do his will, working in you that which is well pleasing in his site, through Jesus Christ; to whom be glory forever and ever. Amen. Hebrews 13:21

For so is the will of God, that was well doing you may put to silence thEver wonder if you are in the will of God? I know I do!
