Rare With a Purpose!

I’m working at our local high school today. As I was walking around the room when the girl said she was reading another girl’s palms. I smiled and said, really! She wanted me to hold out my hand is a certain way, so I played along. She pointed to the main increase in my palms. They connected and sloped down word. She told me that that meant I was rear. The young lady continued to say that those that are rare have a specific purpose in life. I replied to her, I believe that I do! Then I walked away. As I sat working on my devotional book and God spoke to me. ” You were created This way for a specific purpose in your life. Being rare is special and being a child of God is definitely a rarity!” When God reveals your purpose, wow! Nothing can stop you! Be proud of your rarity, it sets you apart from the world. Fight for your purpose, because nothing God opens can be closed. Ephesians 1:8-11, Wherein he hath abounded toward us in all wisdom and prudence; having made a known unto us the mystery of his will according to his good pleasure which he has purpose in himself: that in the dispensation of the fullness of times he might gather together in one all things in Christ, both which are in heaven and which are on earth; even in him: In whom, also we have obtained it an inheritance, being predestinated according to the purpose of him who work at all things after the council of his own will.

Revelation 3:7-8, …these things saith he that is holy, he that is true, he that hath the key of David, he that openeth, and no man shutteth; and shutteth and no man openeth; I know that works: behold, I have set before thee an open door and no man can shut it for thou has a little strength and have kept my word, and has not denied my name.

Second Corinthians 2:11-12, Lest Satan should get advantage of us for we are not ignorant of his devices furthermore when I came to Troas preach Christ Gospel and the door was open and to me oh the Lord.

Sweet friend, don’t forget that you were rare and don’t forget that you have a purpose in this life. And no matter how you see that purpose and your mind it could be small but in the Lord’s mind it’s always great!

Start each day being grateful.

I am starting out today with a grateful heart. ❤️ Sometimes we take things for granted. Those little things in our lives that we do every single day, day in and day out, are usually the ones that we do take for granted! I am grateful because I live in this wonderful country where I have the freedom to read God‘s word and study His word, so that I can be closer to Him. I have the freedom to make the choice to stay at home or go out and work to provide for my family. I am grateful that I am able to help those around me and complete strangers every day I always have a choice. I’m grateful that God has placed so many different people in my life at different times that of helped me to grow as a person and spiritually. I’m grateful that I have been given the opportunity to have a part in a business that care so much about people’s health. There is nothing, I mean nothing, in my life that I would change. I am grateful that God has given me the life that He has.

Are You Ready?

Dear friends, Are you ready for the time that you meet Christ Jesus? Have you been watchful and steadfast in your faith? Do you live separate from the world or are you trying to balance the world and your faith? We can not serve two masters. Do you have a religion or is it a relationship with your Heavenly Father? Think about these questions as you go throughout your day. If you answer no to anyone of these, take time to get on your knees and ask Christ to make you who you need to be for Him. Our lives should reflect Jesus Christ. You may have heard the saying, “You may be the only light of Christ that people see today.”

This is true! We, as Christians, are His light that shines in this dark dark world! We all fail and make mistakes, but striving to be that person God wants us to be is all we can do.
