Names of God

I love the names of God! I suggest as you study your Bible to always underline each name. Even underline where it is referring to a specific name. When you do this it makes it easier to grasp the meaning from God’s word because you can see where the people are at that time.

Can or can’t

Mindset is everything! Our mind should be set in God. When you’re in the will of God you can do anything! He is moving you through the steps. Nothing you say or do will stop what He has planned, so stop telling yourself “I can’t ” and start saying ” I can”.

I tell my students to dig a deep hole and bury that word “can’t “, so deep it is impossible for it to resurface and bother them again. With your mind in Christ you CAN do anything!

Life Preserver

What is your life preserver? When you’re in trouble or something tragic has happened you or what do you turn to? We all have different life preservers. My life preserver I time of trouble is Christ and His word. I can not make it through difficult time without going to Christ. I need to know what to and that He will handle it. Prayer and read His word is my assurance that I have nothing to worry about that it’s all in his hands.

I am thankful for my life preserver.

The Power of words!

I want you to read the story of the valley of dry bones. It sounds just like a scene from a movie. People are so into watching scary movies, but think the Bible is boring! Well, guess what it’s not! How would you feel if you were actually watching this scene unfold?

As you read, please think about these things.

1. Did Ezekiel obey God?

2. What was he told to do?

3. What happened with Ezekiel?

4. How did the bones come to life?

Ezekiel 37:1-10 The hand of the Lord was upon me, and carried me out in the spirit of the Lord, and set me down in the midst of the valley which was full of bones,And caused me to pass by them round about: and, behold, there were very many in the open valley; and, lo, they were very dry. And he said unto me, Son of man, can these bones live? And I answered, O Lord God, thou knowest. Again he said unto me, Prophesy upon these bones, and say unto them, O ye dry bones, hear the word of the Lord. Thus saith the Lord God unto these bones; Behold, I will cause breath to enter into you, and ye shall live:And I will lay sinews upon you, and will bring up flesh upon you, and cover you with skin, and put breath in you, and ye shall live; and ye shall know that I am the Lord. So I prophesied as I was commanded: and as I prophesied, there was a noise, and behold a shaking, and the bones came together, bone to his bone. And when I beheld, lo, the sinews and the flesh came up upon them, and the skin covered them above: but there was no breath in them. Then said he unto me, Prophesy unto the wind, prophesy, son of man, and say to the wind, Thus saith the Lord God; Come from the four winds, O breath, and breathe upon these slain, that they may live.So I prophesied as he commanded me, and the breath came into them, and they lived, and stood up upon their feet, an exceeding great army.

The power of God’s words is great! All you have to do is obey his voice and you will be blessed. The power that comes from the mouth of God can be compared to nothing! He raises people from the dead, heals the sick, even the seas obey his voice. The next time you ask him for guidance you should just sit and listen because you will hear the still soft voice speaking to you, but don’t be fooled because that VOICE has the greatest power that you’ll ever see or feel!
